Health & Skincare Therapy : Minimum 2 year study with an optional 3rd & 4th year Our school was first opened in January 1996, and has been going strongly since. The Principal Mrs. Denise Lepora and all Lecturers are highly Qualified with Somatology Diplomas (3 Years), as well as International Teaching Diplomas. Our Academy is accredited as a school of excellence with PAB (Professional Accreditation Body) and S.A.Q.A. (South African Qualification Association) We offer comprehensive courses in all aspects of beauty and health therapy, which are Nationally and Internationally recognised. The school issues National competency diplomas at the end of the second year when all examinations are completed, and successfully passed. Students then have the opportunity to write the ITEC International Examinations. Subjects generally are divided into three parts - practical, theory and case studies. Students are expected to complete examinations in all of these sections, as well as small research projects for some subjects. Physio-Aesthetics Beauty Academy is closely monitored by I.T.E.C. (UK) to ensure that we uphold their world wide renowned high standard of education. This is a prestigious qualification in South Africa as well as world wide. |
